Vote November 4th
November 4, 2008 is the date for the General (national, state and local candidates) and Presidential Election. This election will also include important statewide Ballot Initiatives; and possibly other local measures.
Important Dates and Times Leading to the November 4 Election
October 20, 2008 - deadline by which you must be registered to vote on November 4th.*
October 28, 2008 - last day County Elections Offices can receive requests for absentee ballots for the November 4, 2008 - Statewide Primary Election.
November 4, 2008 - Election Day (8:00 pm is the deadline for absentee ballots to be received by Election officials.)
* Registration:
You must be registered to vote at your current address at least 15 days prior to an election in order to vote in that election. However, once you are registered, you will remain on the rolls and be eligible to vote in all future elections until you move or otherwise become ineligible.
